News>Faithworks Awards

What would you do with £5,000?

Imagine your community project received £5,000 and free consultancy support for one year.

That is exactly what is on offer for three community projects that have been inspired by Christian faith.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2005 Faithworks Awards, sponsored by Spring Harvest and Christian Resources Exhibitions (CRE).

The Faithworks Awards aim to reward the excellent community work being undertaken by faith-based projects in the UK and inspire more Christians to get involved in meeting the needs of their local community.

Last year, Faithworks received over 200 applications from community projects, with three projects receiving a total of £25,000 along with ongoing consultancy support from Faithworks.

This yearís scheme includes two awards for projects that are demonstrating innovation in their community work and one award for a project that has a track record of best practice in its local community.

To apply for the 2005 Faithworks Awards, download an application form from www.faithworks.info/awards2005 or telephone 020-7450-9088.

The deadline for all applications is July 29.
