Trees for CitiesContinuing Red Ochre’s vision to make the world a better place we have launched a new environmental initiative – Planting Trees in Cities.We didn’t think that it is enough that we make a regular contribution to Trees for Cities who do what they say. We want you to join in! Since we started, over 5 years ago, we have been providing free support to individuals, social enterprise start ups and small voluntary and community organisations. Just as we have assisted you become more sustainable, we are now asking you to help make the planet more sustainable. All those making use of our free/pro-bono service will now be asked to make a small donation (at least £5 upwards) to Trees for Cities. We have a collection box handy. We will be reporting regularly on how many trees have been planted as a result of your contribution (and ours!). Trees for Cities is an independent charity working with communities here and abroad on tree-planting and landscaping projects. Their aim is to tackle global warming, create social cohesion and beautify our cities through tree planting, community education and training initiatives in urban areas of greatest need.
