Finding funding to start an enterprise or a project is a major task. Understanding where to look for appropriate funding is a requirement that all managers or those tasked with funding need to possess.

Grant funding is increasingly proving difficult to secure. As a social enterprise one should be looking to move away from grant dependency. Charities also need to secure alternate cash sources to make their own projects and future survival more secure.

Benefits of Attending> This workshop looks at different sources of funding. Participants will work through the type of information that will be required to secure the funding. Though grant funding will be explored emphasis will also be given to other sources of funding. Bank funding, venture funding, patient funding, venture philanthropy and other new methods of funding will be explored. This is a practical workshop and participants will use templates that they will be able to apply to their own organisation’s requirements.

Course Duration This is a half day or full day workshop; however a two hour introductory workshop is also available on request. The workshop is ideal for those who are tasked with funding, founders of enterprises, management, trustees, and those who are involved with charities and are looking to diversify their funding sources. For training options suitable for those with more advanced requirements please contact us directly to discuss your needs.

Who should attend? For those at the pre-or new start up phase, those looking at improving or changing their funding methods.
